Ready for ICD – 10 ?


All the organizations are ready for the ICD – 10 transitions? And who are all need to be trained? What about the expense for training?
 
1)    A good plan is start training your staffs now is the good for the hospital or the clinic. It will be easy to go live on 2013 for ease the process and revenue.
2)    Almost everyone who works for the physicians/clinic/hospital are need to be trained, at least they should have the basic awareness about the ICD – 10 for almost all the employees. Especially for the below.

·         Medical staff and coders
·         Senior Staff
·         Quality team
·         IT Team
·         Managers
·         If required financial team 

3)    It will be expensive for medical industry, According to the survey by a famous insurance company the transition will onetime cost of $5.5 to 13.5 billion.

Rejection Procedure note qualifier is missing

  Need to check the Charges tab and double click on the Procedure Code line to open up the Charge Entry window. There is a Notes section on the right hand side. If there is a note typed, we need to select the type.   Need to select field and select the appropriate type of note you are sending.   Save the changes made   Check all the procedure if submitted many procedure.   Save the visit again and submit the claim.
