What is Medical Billing?

In simple Terminology Medical billing is the process of submitting the claim to insurance with set of rules and getting paid from the insurance.

What is Medical Billing Course?

There are lot of institute teaching about Medical billing & Coding with so many facility like taking the class online, distance education, free material, installment payment etc., what they will do? they can provide you the rules and regulation about how to bill the claim, like there are so many departments involved in it.

1)    Insurance Verification
2)    Coding
3)    Charges
4)    Payment Posting
5)    Insurance Follow-up
6)    Denial Management etc.,

Class room training can’t provide you the handful of knowledge about Medical Billing & Coding Process, what we suggest is you can work as a fresher in Medical billing department, join any organization and make sure your putting hared effort to learn the process (end-to-end). Most of the third companies may not have the end-to-end billing process.

So you need to search an organization who is doing end-to-end process. Join their work for at least one to two year. By the end of second year you should know the complete process. And then you can excel in that process.

Instead don’t waste your time and money in taking the courses. It our suggestion we are not blaming any institute. Most the institutes are providing wonderful training. But we are suggesting the above model.
